Matt Joplin

Hi, my name is Matt Joplin and real estate is my true calling.  Owning real estate is empowering and life-changing in ways that are unmatched by ownership of any other asset class.  This passion has led me to financial freedom before 40 allowing me to focus my time on what is most important to me, my wife and two young children. 

I love to help people succeed and make decisions that will provide them with emotional and financial successes that will continue to improve and grow with time.  It is my aim to help others, using my drive and passion, to accomplish their own goals and realize their dreams. 

I am a service oriented person who is more interested in providing exceptional value than creating transactional relationships.  I am genuine, honest, compassionate and I act with integrity from start to finish. 

Prior to entering real estate full-time, I worked as an aerospace engineer and later in education.   I leverage my expertise, training,  and professional experiences to take complex situations or potential roadblocks and break them down in a way that is easy to understand and navigate so your goals can be realized. 

While working as an educator, I began investing in distressed single family homes and immediately recognized the power of real estate in moving our family towards our goal of financial freedom.  My wife and I started a small construction company to help support our investing which we still operate today. 

I am a life-long Washington resident who is proud to call the Puget Sound area of our state home.  I am a father of 2 wonderful young children who I enjoy spending time playing in the great outdoors with.  My family and I recently moved to Whidbey Island from Sedro-Woolley and we are loving our new "Island Life".  I love exploring all around the Puget Sound and the North Cascades.  Whether it is on the water or in the mountains there is so much fun to be had here!
